An new Victoria art collective known as MMBB will showcase a utopian version of the Slide Room Gallery as an ultimate modern cultural landmark within the larger urban context of the city of Victoria. They use the concept of the condominium showroom as a model for their ‘display’.

PUSH/PULL, October 3 - 20, 2008
An exhibition curated by Sandra Doore and Lynn Shusholz from the Art Produce Gallery in San Diego. They will bring together the works of artists from San Diego and Victoria. All artists included are also involved in an educational system in some way.
This is part on an exchange exhibition. The San Diego dates of Push/Pull are May 25 - June 29.

An exhibition of Sandra Doore's sculptural works that explore our fascination with'the body without organ and the anxiety and tension that arises by contemplating the impossibility of attaining such ideals. Doore's visual language attempts to bridge the divide between artistic exploration and psychological inquiry.

MAILMANIA 3, January 9 - February 2, 2009
Mailmania 3, the third, international biennial exhibition of Mail Art organized and curated by artist Dale Roberts. Mailmania3 features the work of artists from countries around the world, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Hugary, Japan, Latvija, Malaysia, Norway, South Africa, Uruguay and USA. The exhibition includes an array of Mail Art submitted to Dale Roberts during the last two years. Mail art is art which uses the postal system as a medium, it is represented in “Mailmania3” in its myriad forms: illustrated letters; zines; rubberstamped, decorated, or illustrated envelopes; artist trading cards; postcards; artistamps; faux postage; mail-interviews; naked mail; and three-dimensional objects.
